The Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP) is designed to provide higher education in Korea for international students, with the aim of promoting international exchange in education, as well as mutual friendship amongst the participating countries. Korean Government invites you who wish to pursue a Master or Doctoral’s degree in Korea.

International IT Policy Program (ITPP), sponsored by the Korean Ministry of Knowledge Economy, offers a customized master’s and doctoral degree program for government officials, employees of public institutions or senior-level researchers at national research centers working in the IT fields of foreign countries. All the students will receive scholarships, up to 2 years for master’s students and up to 3 years for doctorate students.
Qualifications of Applicants
- IT related government officials or Senior-level researchers at National
Research Centers working in the IT related fields.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the IT- related area (an applicant for
Ph.D should hold Master’s degree, Master’s should hold Bachelor’s degree)
Financial Support
- Tuition fees (Master’s Degree: up to 2 years/ Doctorate: up to 3 years)
- Airfare (One way, Economy class)
- Living cost (1,5OO,OOO Korean won* per month)
- Initial moving and re-location expenses and medical insurance
* 1,14O Korean won : (approximately) 1.00 US dollar (as of Jan 2012).

The International Environmental Research Center (IERC) at the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), Korea, currently operates the UNU & GIST Joint Program on Science and Technology for Sustainability. IERC organizes an international Internship Program twice per year, offering graduate and postgraduate students from developing countries the opportunity to participate in a 6-month training course in collaboration with the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, GIST. The Programme seeks intern students for during the spring (March-Aug) and fall semesters (Sept.-Feb.).

TLBU Graduate School of Law in Seoul offers scholarship for students from qualified universities of East Asia and Southeast Asia. The scholarship includes tuition fees, board and lodging and airfares for field studies in Korea (first year) and Europe (second year). The Renewable Energy Laboratory (REL) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, also a lab of Break-through Technology Center for Urban Wind Energy Systems (CUWES) of Kunsan National University, has established itself as a leading laboratory in South Korea with continuous developments in the relevant engineering researches in the field of Renewable energy.
